K2 Client Tools install on my laptop win 8.1 pro
Error: The sql server database configuration test failed as database of the wrong type exists.

 

Diagnoses

Issue:
Customer installed the K2 Client Tools. The customer then got the error message with the Smartform installation:
The sql server database configuration test failed as database of the wrong type exists.
 

Resolution

Resolution:
The customer needed to add the correct K2 server name in in order to establish a connection to the DB.
