Symptoms
Can not get set up to complete. Error on Cross Domain Data Connection.
Diagnoses
The error Cross-Domain Data Connection keeps flagging up on the configuration analysis. The permissions have been checked upon the Sharepoint farm and site collection as well as the database permissions too.
Resolution
The initial issue has been resolved by identifying upon the event logs stating an error that the user login credentials being inputted failed and referenced the service account. This meant that the user did not have the correct permissions to connect to the (could not authenticate) Database initially.
Once the user has been added to the database, rerun the config analysis from the K2 Blackpearl directory via start menu and the Cross Domain Data Connection issue was resolved.
