Hi all,

Just upgraded my dev platform from 4.8210.2.0 to 4.8210.3.0 (with package 45) and added 535 updates too.

Everything ran fine till now : the K2 Service stops with the following event error

"12166503","2009-09-30 06:20:03","Error","","1056","","SourceCode.Hosting.Server.Runtime.HostServerEngine","1056 Logging Framework Error, MsgID=1056 (Message Not Found)","system","172.16.XXX.XXX","<servername>:d:program filesk2 blackpearlHost ServerBin","12166503","0b65cec2db524ebe9af516fe7a1ae0e8",""

Note : the K2 Server runs fine when launched in console mode, using the same service account...

Thanks in advance for your ideas,

 Regards,

Antoine

Is the license you are using a Development Licence? If so please note since the release of Kb000450 and 4.8210.3.0 the Development license can't run as a service, it can only run in console.

So if you are referring to the service gets stopped, this is normal behaviour, just run the K2 Server in console mode. Please refer to : http://kb.k2workflow.com/articles/kb000473.aspx

Hope this helps

Hi Vernon,

Thanks for your answer. The link you provide, give us a "page could not be found" message and I can't find a revelant KB article corresponding to this, neither in the 450 release note, neither in the K2 blackpearl installation guide.

Thanks for your help

That’s weird....I accessed it in the past but on the previous knowledge base site. I replied on the mail from Jean regarding the issue

K2've just done an update of the Knowledge Center and now the KB article is available (http://help.k2.com/en/kb000473.aspx)

Thanks for your help.
