Hi,
Could you please explain or give the instructions how K2.Net can be installed on a large SharePoint Portal Server 2003 farm?
The farm consists of:
- 2 net-balancing webservers
- 1 indexing server
- 2 MS SQL servers (mirrors)
Do I need to install K2.Net on each of them (well, except index and sql servers)?

Hi,
You need to install the SharePoint Server Web Service on both the 2 Front-end Web and Search Servers.
Run the K2.net 2003 installation on each server as per normal, but select only the K2.net 2003 Additional Components > K2.net 2003 SharePoint Server Web Service component.
Once this is complete on both servers, K2.net will be able to integrate with SharePoint.
Just make sure you configure Kerberos with this setup.
Because the servers are load balanced a SPN needs to be created for the NLB Farm, which will enable communication between K2.net Server and SharePoint.
