 Since the Active Directory at the customer is not well organized ; i will heavely depend on Sharepoint's Groups to group the emaployees in certain groups with certain roles for each group instead of the Active Directorie's Users and Groups.


 Is it possible for Users and Groups at sharepoint to replace Domain users and Groups in K2 blackPearl?

This is just a tip that one of our guys used to leverage on SharePoint groups within the process as destinations.  I haven't validated it yet but it should work.


There is a service broker on K2 Underground that can read Sharepoint Group Users (http://k2underground.com/k2/ProjectHome.aspx?ProjectID=8).




  2. Creat a smartobject using this service broker.


  3. Then go into K2 workspace and create a ROLE.


  4. In that role link it to a SmartObject.


  5. In the SmartObject, the only input parameter is the SharePoint Group Name.
