is it possible for the destination rule to get the group from sharepoint? What are the steps to do that

In K2 blackpoint, yes it is located under the user tab in the Object Browswer.

In K2 blackpearl, not yet. Your only solution would be to look at a Service Object that was and placed in the blackmarket. I believe it will allow you to use Sharepoint Groups as destinations.
