Symptoms


While sending an email from K2 smart form/ workflow it gives error, saying "Invalid SMTP Server / Port arguments supplied."

 

Diagnoses


This occurs when the Mail Server field in the environment library contains a value other than the SMTP server name with or without the port number. For example: smtp.denallix.com, or smtp.denallix.com:25
 

Resolution

Update the Mail Server field to contain the correct SMTP server name, and if using a workflow redeploy the workflow so that the change is also made to the workflow values.
