Symptoms

Receiving an invalid license key error when clicking ok in the k2 connect admin page.
 

Diagnoses

Determined that the license key was being added to the client tools, which is unnecessary. Only the Connect server needs to be licensed. The underlying issue was the inability to use the Development Kit.
 

Resolution

Resolved by adding a destination in the K2 Connect administration tool, and adding the existing connector. Restarted visual studio and the user was able to access the development kit.
