Symptoms

The process instance went into the error state with the following error:
"3827925396","2015-04-29 12:44:59","Error","General","28083","ExtenderExecuteError","ProcessInstance.HandleException","28083 ServerEvent: Invalid archive type
InnerException: An unexpected error has occured while trying to resolve a value for Resolver ID 106C5886-18B1-4c09-BEB3-6F7342669D18.
InnerException: An unexpected error has occured while trying to resolve a value for Resolver ID 22d1b47c-1d4a-4a8f-9f7e-3cb991e144c6.
InnerException: The function 'If' raised a 'TargetInvocationException' during execution.


This is occurring within the SQL Reporting Service.
 

Diagnoses

The issue was caused by Client tool used to deployed the process was configured to point to Dev server which has 4.6.9 version.
 

Resolution

Reconfigured the Client tool to point to Production (4.6.8) and redeploy the process resolved.
