How do you configure K2 Blackpearl to use ADAM as a source for users/groups?  I want to make ADAM groups accessible from the management console in the K2 Workspace so that these groups can be added to roles.  I also want to make these groups available in the K2 Object Browser in K2 Designer for Visual Studio.

Do you need to modify the web.config for the workspace on the server?  What else needs to be done?

Hi kgraziano,

Have you sorted it out? I have been trying to create a new Domain using the K2 Management Console -> User Managers -> K2 -> Domains but it doesn't seem to work with my ADAM instance. This is the syntax I am using: LDAP://<dns hostname>:<port>/<distinguisedName> e.g. LDAP://myhost.local:50000/dc=adam,dc=local. Am I missing something? Do I have to setup a trust with my AD domain? How do I do that? To sum it up, I need to authenticate users on Active Directory and control authorisation within ADAM.

 Cheers,
