Input Parameters for SmartObject method set to Required

Diagnoses

In out Dev environment I have created stored procedures in SQL to replace the default Create/Read/Update/List methods for the SmartObjects pointing to these tables. In the Create stored procedure I have given all of the input parameters a Null default value. When I configure the SmartObject to use the stored procedure the input properties are all set to not required (as expected).

I have then updated the UAT SQL database with the same stored procedures, refreshed the service instance and deployed the SmartObjects from Dev to UAT. In UAT, the input properties for the Create method are all set to Required.

There appears to be no difference between the SQL Servers and databases. Why is Dev setting the input parameters as not required, but in UAT they are required?

I have attached screen shots comparing the Dev and UAT environments.
