InfoPath Promoted Properties not being Set on Publish

As we now know, when you deploy a K2 process with IP, it will publish the IP form for you.  Not sure if this is known but when I deploy an InfoPath process, if I have properties that have been promoted to be visible in the form library the columns will not be created.  I have to open up the IP form and re-publish the form after I deploy the K2 process.
