Good day,I have a document library and I want to search through it and look for items that have a specific name.  Basically if an more then one item has 'x' in the name send an email.  And it also needs to run on a folder and not that documents themselves.Any suggestions?Thanks,Jennifer

Hello,Neither Forms nor Workflow installs properly on a non english server.Specifically, my server has SharePoint installed only with the French language (1036).When I ran the setup, it failed with this error:Impossible de trouver une partie du chemin d'accès 'C:Program FilesCommon FilesMicrosoft SharedWeb Server Extensions15HCCab1033Nintex.Forms.HC.cab'.This is due to the installer that try to write files in"C:Program FilesCommon Filesmicrosoft sharedWeb Server Extensions15HCCab1033"But the 1033 folder does not exists.It can be worked around easily by creating manually this folder.thanks

We are trying to upgrade SharePoint and Nintex to 2016.  I am testing a workflow that works as expected in the current version (2013) but does not work in 2016.  I am using the Copy to SharePoint action, where I actually have a specific URL set, but it uses two workflow variables to populate parts of the URL (since properties of the document and the workflow will determine the exact library to which it is to be copied).I have attempted both clicking on Insert Reference to type in the entire URL with the workflow variables and typing the URL in the box on the configure action page and just clicking on Insert Reference in the place of the URL where the workflow variables need to be added.  Each time it appears correctly, but when I save, then click on Configure to check it, I find that something in the URL is different.  Examples include adding an extra "/", dropping one of workflow variable or adding slashes and the same workflow variables twice.  On occasion, when I click on configure,

Folks,Like to get some guidance and/or pointers. I have a form that hides panels based on option selected. The panels hides, so I know the rule validation is working. I have read and done the issues on spacing issues, so this should not be the issue.When I select an option the appropriate panel shows. BUT..... on form load there "seems" to be a space holder. If I cycle through the options again then the panels also move. I am throwing my arms up as I have redid the form, delete removed the fields and panels and rules.Hopefully this image gives better meaning to my thought process.I can only think if this is a CSS issue, but I have not had this issue with other forms and hiding panels. The CSS is default other than the CSS added for spacing. Only this form is having this issue. I have been waiting for my admins to reboot the server and also wondering if this is one of those random glitches.

Hi all,I query a list to get a Start and End date in that list.   I store the start and end dates in two date variables.  Then I update my current list with the values in the Start/End date variables.  For some reason, one day is subtracted from the dates when you view the dates in the current list.Has anyone seen this before?Cheers,Troy

 Question There might come a time that you don't need to use a workflow and instead just want to create List Items from Smartforms. There are a couple of ways to do this.   Answer #1. Auto Generate Smartforms for the List you are working with.  This is very simple and can be done with a couple click on the K2 Artifact Page. This will generate Views and Forms for the SharePoint list, and you can actually look at how this form is setup to get a better idea of how everything works together.       #2. Create the rules yourself using View Method or SmartObject method. Now when we do not want to auto generate forms, we can use a couple of simple rules to Create the List Item.    A. We need to create a View for the SmartObject. From the Artifact Page select New > View.   B. Make sure we will want to select Item View and that the correct SharePoint List SmartObject is selected for our Data Source. Click Next and this should take us to a blank Layout Designer with Create Labels and Controls

I am using a Nintex form to hide and area unless a check box has been selected. I have a need for there to be two check boxes and if either or both check boxes are selected I need to un-hide  a control. I haven't seen anyone else describe this problem.

Hi all,Does anyone know how to get the parent folder (name) of a list item on create?  I have a challenge where I have a single list with 10 folders (using for security), and everytime a user creates a new list item, I want to automatically populate a metadata fields with the name of the parent folder.   In a document library I could use column default values, but I can't in a list.Thanks for any help!Cheers,Troy

Hi, I would appreciate any help with the following issue. I am trying to create an automated documents creation process using worklfow.My company has several document templates which I converted into SharePoint content types (created relevant site columns, created template for each CT, inserted Quick Parts controls into it and assigned it to relevant content type).Then I created the custom list where I configured the columns (same as mentioned content types columns) for the user to fill in one of which being the dropdown - lookup (contains the names of templates=content types and looks up the CT ID and CT columns) in which user can select the template for which he´d like to create the document for. This way when new template is added I just need to create new CT and update the list with corresponding columns as I have done for the existing ones and user will be able to select it and document will be created.Documents are supposed to be created in document library on the same site which

I have a list with the following columns: consumer, before, balance.The balance column is equal to the sum of the column consumer and the column before, so far so good.But the value of the column before the current row should be the value of the balance column of the previous row.How can I do this?

Is there a way to call a SQL command (SP)  by using a Javascript (On button click), and return the values or result on same Nintex form, while keeping the form opened/ not submitted.in a way like below, needs the get details/ call a SQL SP or web service and return the results on the below fields.Is this possible with Nintex forms? without depending on Nintex workflow.

I am trying to capture the outcome and other details once the workflow task is assigned to reviewers possible outcomes (Approve, Reject) behavior "All must agree" and outcome stored in some variable. But every time the workflow executes it only captures the outcome of 1st reviewer (if 2 reviewers) and 1& 2 reviewers (if 3 reviewers) the last reviewer in all cases captures Pending, although it captures the remarks and other details correctly.How to capture all the outcomes and other details correctly?

Hi,  I am using Run Parallel actions control to send reminder for Request Review action as shown below. I have associated the Action Id of Request review control with Task Reminder as well. The issue which we are facing is even after actioning on the Task, it is still waiting in Task Reminder branch for the period of delay which we have mentioned in that control and then the workflow is getting completed. How to avoid this delay when the tasks are already actioned? Is there a another approach to send reminder for this Request Review action. Kindly suggest

Tested and works as expected. But now I need desable validation if the panel with single text is hidden. Hi Folks,In Nintex Forms, I am having an issue with a comparison operator. It seems like is should be pretty straight forward.I have a button that when clicked, puts the current user's preferred name into a text control (jsvar_518_QMName). This should only happen when a choice control (jsvar_FormNomen) has the text value "518" selected.When "518" is the selected value and the button is clicked, the first code segment (==) below does not put the current user name in the text control as expected but the second segment (==) does put the current user name in the text control. This seems to tell me that the code works but it is not reading the choice selection. Hi there,I have created a multi level approval workflow as state machine workflow.  There are three levels , Supervisor / Manager / Director.For all these levels , I created reusable list workflow , and from the parent WF I am calling this secondary WF , passing parameters , such as approver name etc.When I manually ran secondary WF , it just runs fine wihtout any issue. When it is called from Supervisor state, runs fine, Only when an employee who's approver is Director (say Mangers , where they only need to be approved by Directors), the workflow creates the approval task, however , parent workflow throws exception in history list as :Failed to invoke web service. Is it possibile to make controls in a form depending on each other? For example if Control1 has options "1, 2, 3" and Control2 has options "x, y, z". Then I select option 1 in Control1, now only options y & z should be selectable in Control2 and vice versa. Is this possibile? And then on top of that, is it possibile to make images on a form dynamic like that. So let's say, there is a different image displayed if I select 1 and z than when I select 3 and y?

Hello! I am creating an order form and have custom JavaScript functions that check checkboxes based on the bundle selected. Checking those boxes work without problems. When the bundle is changed, I want to clear all boxes first, then check the appropriate boxes for the new bundle selected. My problem: When the checkboxes are cleared, either by the “clearAllCheckboxes()” function or manually, the checkboxes can no longer be checked programmatically.
