Hi All,i have created SharePoint group with nintex workflow. and able to add the user to the group with workflow. when i see the permissions it doesn't shows. can you suggest me how can i grant the permissions to the group?  

Hi,Until now we used InfoPath for all our forms in SharePoint. Now I'm about to migrate one of the forms (list based) to Nintex Forms. I have already created the design in Nintex and published it.However, when I now want to create a new list item, or edit/display an existing one, the form always opens in the old InfoPath layout instead of the new Nintex layout.I recognized, when I create a complete new list and design a form in Nintex Forms, the items also open in Nintex. However, if I customize the form in InfoPath once, it will always open in InfoPath. How can change this to open in Nintex again?What am I missing to have Items opened in Nintex Forms and not in InfoPath?I'm appreciating any help.Thanks!

Under "Insert Reference" > "Workflow Variables" only some are shown and I cannot figure out why these are shown and others not.

Hi Folks,I am working with Nintex workflow 2013 (on-prem) and am trying to create a UDA that I can pass around to folks who are NOT on my site collections. As such, the other users of the UDA will need to pass in their own credentials for a  Call web service action (see screenshot below). Is there a way to securely get this done? By the options when creating a parameter, it doers not look like it.Any input would be much appreciated.Thanks and Regards,Patrick

My system will not give me a drop down to enter a form for the initial document set. Once I'm in a Document Set, I can create a Nintex Form for the entry of documents. That's not what I need. I'd like to be able to control the entry of data and also display some fields as ReadOnly.

how to using multi language choice field with nintex form?

I have repeating section, the rows contain a checkbox, date field and people picker fields. Hello,I'm trying to find a workaround where I can use the Document sets to save different forms and documents. I cannot include list item based content types into a document set type. It will have to be of type document/page...etcI've found a Parent content type under the Document content type called "Form" but it cannot be edited using Nintex forms. Did anyone find a workaround to include Custom list "looking" forms into a document set? I don't want to include a document (.doc or .xls) with multiple metadata.. just a simple form.. the other way I'm thinking, would probably be, add a link to a document and have each of the forms on separate list, then populate the links to the documents to those forms on the other list into my document set. would that work?I hope I'm making sense..Any insight would be of great help.Thanks!

Hi Everyone,Given that there is no nintex form in the Calendar App in O365. Is there a way I can have a field that will be hidden base on the choices of  the user?Also, If it is hidden is there a way that the field will not be required and if it is shown it will be a required field.Thank you!

I am using Nintex 2010 workflows. I have installed (2.5.4.0, Released 23 July 2017). After installing this update, whenever i want to use Nintex list lookup, i receive this error.Kindly help me to get out from this issue.

 Symptoms To replicate the issue:[Design time]1. have a img/file attachment and a save button2. save button > on click > validate the attachment control as required[Run time]3. upload a huge file (10mb). While the file is uploading, click save. The form will pass validation.Some findings on smartforms behavior:1. While the file is in "uploading" state, it passes the "control contains a value" condition. (i.e. attachment control !=empty)2. In a data label, assign an expression as the value of the attachment control.Result: The value will be empty while the control is in "uploading" state. When the attachment has completed upload, the value will be reflected. Diagnoses N/A Resolution This is a known issue. Here is the workaround:1. Add a data label to the form/view2. How to prevent the same user (approver) approving their task?I have approval workflow that allow everyone to create a request. Once the request has been submitted, it will be routed to departmental approver group based on their AD department. In the event of the approver is the creator, then he/she can approver their own tasks. For security audit purpose, we should prevent the approval notification send to the approver if they raise that request.Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Emily

Hi everyone!Having a really issue with my workflow! Objective:Check if list item (crane) has been submitted for today. 1) Set current date var2) Query list for departments3) For Each - Department4) Query cranes in department filtered by dept into cranecollection.5) Query submissions list got records submitted today and return crane id's to outputcollection.6) For Each - crane in cranecollection store in craneIN7) Collection op - craneoutput EXISTS, value craneIN store in existCollection.8) Set Condition - if existCollection is not emptyYES - add craneIN to completeOut   No- add craneIN to missingout.9) clear existCollectionLoopWhat am I doing wrong here? Do I need another for each loop for the outputcollecion? I've tried that where it goes through each item on the collection and I've tried comparing the variables and it just doesn't work. 

We have create a leave request form. As part of the workflow if approved it will email the user with a ICS file so they can add it to their calendar. In our department we have a Exchange resource calendar for staff to add their vacation, conference, etc. We would like to figure out a way to add this resource calendar to the ICS file. When the staff members "Accepts" the calendar event its added to their personal calendar and added to the resource calendar.  At this time we want to avoid connecting to exchange directly as part of the workflow.

Hi, We have client having applications which are already developed in different versions of .Net. Now client want to move to SharePoint 2013 or 2016 and K2.All the existing applications will be redeveloped to fit the platform or can directly be hosted in SharePoint. All the current applications are reading data from SAP system. Now when we move to new implementation (SharePoint + K2) then also we have to use SAP to read and write data. Currently client is planing to purchase K2 AppIT VM for initial phase but it is found that there is not K2 Connect in that VM. (K2 CORE6.0 APPIT). Client has following questions : 1. If K2 AppIt is cloud solution can it directly connect to ON-PREM SAP by using K2 Provided connector or service (Not K2 Connect).2. Even though K2 App IT VM is there do we really need K2 Connect for SAP as separate installaion. Please suggest best approach and if possible the licensing of only K2 Connect for SAP. Thanks and regardsK2 AND K2

I have tried multiple variations of date formats in the Nintex Workflow "Convert Value" action item.  However, I have had no success.  Here's one sample of what I have been working on:StartDate is a variable with a value of "2017-09-11T13:00:00Z".  The contents of the StartDate variable is to mimic the date information that is pulled out of a web request (Exchange out of office).  I've created a smaller workflow in order to work through the issue with the "convert value" action item.  Essentially, what I'm looking to do is to convert the string value of StartDate to a date data type. When I run the above action item, these are the results I see.I've added a time format, too, to see if that would help but had the same results.I've tried various other format strings with the same results.  What could I be doing wrong?  Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi,Like an excited child at Christmas I've downloaded and installed the latest release of Nintex 2016 to my dev box. Gone to a custom list, clicked on the Nintex Forms button in the ribbon and.......nothing! The button is unresponsive (pun intended).I can click the down arrow to customise my item form but when I click that, nothing. The form designer will not load.It was working fine before.In Nintex Administration If I click on the "Form designer experience" link or the "Responsive forms template" link, I get a "Sorry, something went wrong" error.Could not load type 'Nintex.Forms.SharePoint.AdministrationPages.DesignerExperience'.The other pages in admin appear to work fine.There was no error during the install process.

I am using Nintex forms 2010 for one of our client. I had installed latest updates(1.12.2.0, Released 25th July 2017). After this, when i click Nintex forms from ribbon to customize the item form. Instead of loading Nintex designer, following popup is displayed.I have tried to solve this issue but unable to resolve this. 

Hello all,I have a question on the Title field. I have set "Require that this column contains information" to "NO" in the list settings and a custom validation rule in the Nintex Forms when the field is empty. I'm getting validation errors as shown in the attached images. Can someone help me.

I have a request to create a form and at the beginning of the form, there are two choices.  Depending on the choice, they want the form to "advance" to the correct section.  i.e. - If it's a new request, go to Section 1.  If it's a change to an existing request, skip to Section 8.  Thanks for any help!

Hi I have three sites for example site1, site2 and site3. I have a list(Test list)in all three sites.How can i design a nintex form and add it to all three sites instead of recreating it three times.Can someone please suggest me how this can be achieved.Thanks

Building a form and newly using Nintex. Users have been saving forms to SharePoint libraries and folders for several years. One library for each year and below various folders with files including emails.Need way, unsure how or best control to use, to let user select a particular library and file (or at least library) and save that path (?) link (?) in the form field to make it easy in future to get to that library and file. Going forward will simply attached files to a form as created. Considering converting long SharePoint URLs using google.com URL Shortener.Hope above clear. Appreciate any help.
