Symptoms
When returning an entry from a date/time column in SharePoint using Appit, the time is returned in UTC, instead of the timezone configured for the SharePoint site. Can the time be formatted to return from a specific timezone?
Diagnoses
K2 grabs the value from SharePoint and converts it into the K2 server timezone. In this case, the Appit server is configure to use UTC, so the time returned is UTC. This is by design.
Resolution
The workaround is to use the Subtract (or Add) Hours function to convert the time correctly for the timezone you wish displayed. In the U.S. this will not accurate in most places for the full year due to Daylight Savings Time. A feature request has been logged for the ability to use input a timezone into the FormatDateTime function to display the time correctly.
