Http error when creating an instance of type service "SharePoint Service V1"
 

Diagnoses


Hello,

When creating a new "service instance" for a SharePoint site type "SharePoint V1 Service" we got the following error:
- "The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found."
You will find attached a screenshot of the error.
NB: Is is it mandatory to install "K2 for SharePoint" for each SharePoint servers we want to create an instance it service?

Hi

 

Can you please send details on how this case was resolved as I am having the same problem.  I have created SharePoint list and generated 2 smart objects. The SharePoint is running on a different server to the k2 server and when I register service type instance of SharePoint V1 I am getting 404 error.

Hi Lena,


 


Do you have K2 for SharePoint installed on your environment?


You can get the installation here: K2 for SharePoint 4.6.11 Setup (4.13350.1734.2InstallationSetup.exe


Once installed you can register the ServiceInstance using the SmartObject Service Tester Tool


NOTE: You may have to install the K2 for SharePoint on all Front-Ends


 


If you have SharePoint 2013 you will have to run the AppDeployment.exe and it will install all the Services for you
