How to show Approval/Workflow status to requester/user using Nintex workflow cloud

@utariq2 Your workflow is setup well. Two things. 

1. You don't necessarily need to the first and last states. Not a bad thing, but you don't need them directly, except if you are wanting to communicate this on the instances page. 

2. regaring your initial query on showing the status, this is currently not possible with Nintex Workflow Cloud outside of pointing the user to the workflow instances page and having them find the instance for their workflow. 

Optionally you could have a status email go out each time its updated, but thats not ideal for a bunch of emails to communicate the status. We have Hawkeye that you could route beacons and show what the overall status of workflows are in a given process. This would use the process lens, and can show task, approvers, state and more, but may be overkill for what you're trying to accomplish. 

Hi @eharris04 thanks for sharing the details. Apart from this query, can you please tell would we need to install Nintex on prem/using our own servers or we just need to buy license and our data will be stored nintex cloud? what is the data security policy? And how would we be able to configure AD after buying the license? 

We are looking forward to have such questions anwered so we could proceed towards license buying step.

Hope you are doing fine. Could you please confirm/advise how we can use url/action button to receive the response from approver in a workflow within email rather than responding as text (Reject/Approved)? Currently we are able to use below options to capture response:

• Getting response from approver in form of text via email to keep the workflow going
• Using Form Action and taking the response in radio button click from approver

Is there any possibility within nintex workflow cloud that we could make url action button that could be used to receive the response from Approver rather than he reply the email with text that we set i.e. (Reject/Approve)?
