how to end a running workflow without the element in the list the workflow refers to

The Problem:
I have some Test Workflows running which should be ended (manually) by now. The element created by the workflow was deleted so I get the following error report:
"soap:ServerServer was unable to process request. ---> The element is not available."

Is there a way to delete the running Workflow without the list element it refers to?
