Symptoms
I am planning to copy k2 database lower version to newer version 4.6.11. Please let me know the steps/procedure.
Diagnoses
Customer has a new SQL server and is also planning to upgrade K2 to 4.6.11.
Resolution
1. First have the Database Administrator migrate the K2 database from the old server to the new server.
2. Download the K2 Blackpearl update/installer files from this link: http://portal.k2.com/downloads/bp/
3. Run each of the four installers in this order (BlackPearl>Smartforms>Smartforms Control Pack> Sharepoint). During the installation of Blackpearl and for Smartforms, you will be asked for your license key and for the location of the new SQL server.
