Symptoms


Unable to find the view when configuring an item in a package to “Use an existing view” option. This view has had the system name changed directly from the K2 database

Unable to find the view when configuring an item in a package to “Use an existing view” option. This view has had the system name changed directly from the K2 database

 

Resolution

Please do note that directly modifying the system is not recommended as this will affect the XML properties of this item. For this case, we have tried to revert the changes and re-opened the PandD tool. After this was done, we were able to find the missing view when trying to configure it.
