Symptoms

I was reviewing http://help.k2.com/kb000686 and it says to ensure C:Program Files (x86)K2 blackpearlHost ServerBinK2Server.config is set to the correct framework (section: Using .NET 4.0 in a K2 4.6 or later Configuration)

In our dev environment that we installed 4.6.10, I'm no longer see this configuration file. I don't see this as part of the config file consolidation (http://help.k2.com/kb001637).

Resolution

The K2Server.config was used for backwards compatibility with early version of K2.net 2003. Most of the Blackpearl settings are now in the K2HostServer.exe.config and K2Server.setup. K2Server.config file is not using after .config file consolidation.
