How do you start a workflow on subfolders in document library?

I have the workflow set up so that when a new document is created/imported into the document library, the workflow starts. However, I'm struggling with only starting the workflow on a specific subfolder. 

Does anyone have a solution for this?

    HI,

    Folder would consider as an item, you can not start the workflow for specif folder,

    but you can add the Start condition or add conditions top of the workflow as per your workflow nature
