Hi there...

I'm in the start of a project and have gotten a somewhat tricky question. How to ensure process execution in a remote location. How would one design the components to deliver on this demand?

I am think towards database replication and a failover setup, but since i'm more of a system/business developer I'd hope to get some feeds from you guys on how to solve this.

Scenario:

Main setup in Scandinavia - clustered database, load balanced servers. Global net spanning from the nordic countries to Nigeria, singapore and caracass. When the line between lets say Norway and Nigeria goes down - the nigerians needs to work with their processes.

A local K2 server added as a failover + database replication.
