Hi, I have created a form with a repeating section.  Within this section there an employee name field, which can be used to search for an employee.  When the employee search function is in use, the list of employee names is obstructed by the repeat section button.  Images attached.  Is there a way to fix this issue?  Thanks

Hi,
Based on the screen shots this looks like it is Responsive form. As this is the case this should not occur.
I would try removing the people picker control and re-adding it to see if that resolves the issue.
If not please attach an export of the form so I can take a look at it.

Hi SimonMuntz,

Thank you for your response.  Yes, it is a Responsive form, and I have now tried removing the people picker control and adding it back in, and also adding spacers/label sections to spread the fields out, but this has not improved the situation.  What I omitted from my initial query, sorry, is that there is an additional hidden panel, within the panel shown, which becomes visible when the accommodation required box is ticked.  If selected, the panel extends to capture accomodation details, and the people picker list is no longer obstructed.   It is more than likely my limited abilities, but I am unable to export the form to upload.  I have included a few more images showing the form in Design View, if this helps at all, and another image showing when the accommodaton required box is ticked.  Thanks

Hi,
All I can say about this solution/design is that having controls hide within a repeating section is a bad idea and causes problems as you have already found.
I suggest disabling the panel unless it is needed instead of hiding it.

Hi,

The form accomodation panel is needed as each individual's needs may be different, and the form itself could be submitted for just one individual or multiple individuals.  It provides the administrator with a neat and concise list (via the form view) of attendees and their own specific requirements.  Hence the repeating section with the addtional panel within it.  In my head, short of having a separate "Accomodation Required" section added to the form, which would require the repetition of each individual's details to be repeated to confirm accomodation requirements and then details, if needed.  I can't think of an alternative design set-up.  I am also thinking it would also increase the size of the form significantly, and would require an administrator to manually match up nomination names to accomodation names (if that makes sense), incase someone name is missing from one of the sections.  I appreciate you do not have the full specification details to hand, but does anyone have any suggestions regarding an alternative design that would resolve the issue?

The form can still be used as it is.  It is just not perfect, unfortunately.

Thanks
