We have just set up Lync integration with Nintex Workflow 2013 and so I have been playing with the various options available to me now, all spurred on by ‌ and his awesome blog post ‌.  The action "Find users by status", although I don't have a use case for it right now, I assume would be a good one to find all "Available" members of a group and assign tasks only to those.  So I thought I would have a play.

I have configured it as such:

Find users:  Site owners group

With status:  Available

Stored in collection:  vCollAvailableOwners

I am in the owners group and I am Available (in the sense of Lync only  ) but it does not return me!

I have two entries in AD with the same display name - one is my normal account and one is a test account that I rarely use.  I think it is using display name to search...  does anyone know about this and whether this is true?  If so, in an organisation as big as the one in which I work, this won't be a useful action at all as there are lots of duplicate display names!
