Hoping somoene knoledgable can help. 

I want to be able to extract an attachement from a form and then edit the document by inserting values into a text content control in the document. Is this possible and are they any tried and tested ways to perform this proicedure with Nintex forms/worklfows?

I am using SharePoint 2013 Enterprise on-prem.
