I created an Exchange Meeting, the meeting request is successfully generated and sent to the recipients mailbox.

Exchange Meeting Settings

Set the validate meeting rules after: Every response from a destination user

Meeting Succeeding Properties: at least 1 required attendee has accepted

Destination Rule: First True

However when a required attendee accepts a meeting request, the meeting does not get scheduled and does not follow the exchange line rule of schedule. Seems as if the succeed rule is not executed. (The meeting outcome variable is still blank). The process remains at the exchange meeting activity and is still active.

Any suggestions on what I could be the problem.
Hi Faisal,

If the recipient receives the meeting request it indicates that there is a problem either with the Exchange NT Service of the K2ExcWebService.
Most likely it is the service.
Use the "Configure Exchange NT Service" utility to check that that the user account running this service does have the correct mailbox specified.
Log on as the user running this service and open Outlook. If the meeting replies are still in the Inbox it means that the service did not connect to the mailbox and it could be that the Information Store variable is incorrect. This should normally be: Mailbox - <User Display Name> (Note the spaces between Mailbox and the user display name.

If the mails were processed then it means that the K2ExcWebService is not configured correctly. Check that you specified the correct WebService URL in the Exchange Service Configuration utility.

K2.net Server in console mode can also help you resolve some of these issues, so if possible open the server console and plan a process with an exchange meeting. When the e-mail arrives in the recipient's mailbox, accept it and make sure you send a reply. Then have a look on the console. After a couple of seconds you should see the web service trying to open a worklist connection and finishing an activity. If this does not happen then your service did not open the mailbox and gave an error.

Hope this helps.

JohanL
