Symptoms

Unable to deploy workflow from K2 Designer. The following error is thrown:

System.Exception: No default Forms runtime URL environment field configured
at SourceCode.WebDesigner.Authoring.Forms.GenerateProcess.SetupEnvironmentFields()
at SourceCode.WebDesigner.Authoring.Forms.GenerateProcess.ProcessSetup(DefaultProcessand newProcess, XmlDocument InputData, XmlDocument xmlProcess, String ProcessName, String ProjectName, String UserName)
at SourceCode.WebDesigner.Authoring.Forms.GenerateProcess.Generate(String LocalHostConnection, String UserName, Int32 ProcessID, String InputData, String ProcessXML, String SqlConnectionString, String HostServerConnectionString)
 

Diagnoses

- Make sure the SmartForms Runtime URL default column is set to True for both environments and the Default Template.
- Navigate to oInstallDir]K2 blackpearlK2 smartforms DesignerWorkflowweb.config
- Make a backup of the web.config file
- Edit this file changing: to
-Do an IISReset
-Restart the K2 service from the services.msc application.
-Redeploy the process.
 

Resolution

- Make sure the SmartForms Runtime URL default column is set to True for both environments and the Default Template.
- Navigate to tInstallDir]K2 blackpearlK2 smartforms DesignerWorkflowweb.config
- Make a backup of the web.config file
- Edit this file changing: to
-Do an IISReset
-Restart the K2 service from the services.msc application.
-Redeploy the process.
