Experiencing weird behaviour when trying to install the latest version of K2.
 

Diagnoses

When trying to install K2 4.7 on your environment you get an multiple errors not being able to uninstall or reinstall K2.

K2 workspace and K2 studio were successfully installed. K2 blackpearl and core weren't installed. However this is not accessible.

When trying to do a reconfigure from the installation media this launches as the update manager assuming that this is an upgrade and not a separate installer.

 

Resolution

It could be the case here that you will need to install an older version such as 4.6.10 firstly and then further upgrade to 4.7. This will allow you to get K2 up and running successfully.
