Symptoms

Trying to create a site using the create site wizard step in the workflow. When it hits the create site step, the workflow errors. The error I get is
Service: site_url_name
Service Guid: xxxx-xxx-xxx
Severity: Error
Error Message: Access denied. You do not have permission to perform this action or access this resource.
InnerException Message:

Resolution

K2 Application must be enabled on the target site. For the Create Subsite feature to work under a SharePoint site, the K2 for SharePoint app must be registered to the target site, see link below.
