Error Installing Nintex on a new App server on the Farm

I’m installing Nintex on a new server that was added on the farm, the existing web front that running Nintex will be decommissioned at a later stage.

Hi Jacob,

You should only need to add the server to the farm. If Nintex has already been installed on it. Nintex Workflow is a SharePoint solution and therefore SharePoint will make sure the relevant dlls etc are copied across.

If this is going to be a WFE at a later stage, and the server with the Nintex Binaries decommissioned. I would suggest, when doing the next upgrade to uninstall Nintex Workflow from Add Remove Programs on the old server and install the MSI/EXE on the new server. This will then distribute the binaries on the new server and upgrade the solution files on the farm.

Another thing to remember that you will need to update your license file to include the new server name.
