We have managed to locate the cause of the issue . User's that are failing to resolve in the K2 Identity Framework all appear to be Members of an AD Security Group called ritMediaSiteAccess .

We are unable to find this site via the AD Browser . We cannot create a new Group with the same name as AD states that it already exists , and when we try to access the Group via the MembersOf tab of an AD User , we get an Object Does Not Exist Error .

It would appear this is a corrupted AD Group . K2 tries to process is at part of the AD User Objects MembersOf Properties and fails because it's not read-able .


 

 

Resolution 

From your end if you can engage the AD Team to have a look at this group and either fix it up or remove it from all User's MemberOf properties .

Once this is done , things should start working as normal
