Symptoms

Trying to deploy a package from Production to Dev and nothing is working. The package is about 10MB in size.
We either get:
- "An expected error occured while attempting to execute a server side operation" error when PandD is refactoring the package in IE or Chrome: http://screencast.com/t/lIPYC3Rrm
- Or get a blank error message after we map the ‘Column’ for the on the SP List in Firefox, See: http://screencast.com/t/6pH8rYMNg
 

Diagnoses

Issue occurs when PandD takes to long to refactor the model, after remapping has happened on the UI. While the K2 Server is busy applying changes on the server side, the connection is silently closed without notifying the page. The UI and the server is essentially disconnected, so if the server responds, we do not get the response, and therefore sit and wait indefinitely.

Please contact K2 Support, by logging a ticket request, for assistance with deployment of your PandD package if you encounter a similar issue.
