Editing Workflow During Peak Hours

Good afternoon,

 

I was wondering if it was suggested to not edit the workflows (i.e. adding distros, updating Email Notification templates) while there are users working in it?

We have a team of about 50 people and often we get complaints from the floor that are deemed as "server issues" but I was wondering if they could get a 'Workflow errored' message or other hinderance due to me editing the workflow throughout the day?

    I recently created a workflow that makes API web requests which create tickets in a ticketing system. If I was editing the workflow at the same time a user submitted the form that runs the workflow, it would run the workflow twice which meant duplicate tickets were created. I suggest working on a test version else where until you are ready to publish in production.
