Drop Down list looks weird in IE

Hi,

In chrome DDL looks like that:

While on IE it looks different on every use:

How can I make the apperence of the error as homogeneous as possible?

    Unfortunately this is outside the bounds of our control as it can depend on the computer, OS, and browser version. It seems that the controls are rendering and showing the data as expected which does satisfy our usage scenarios.
