Symptoms

Client was inquiring on the database consolidation requirement for upgrading to 4.6.10
 

Diagnoses

Databases do not need to be consolidated in order to upgrade to 4.6.10. The 4.6.10 upgrade updates schematization and updates procedures to streamline data storage and improve the performance of the K2 Server.

 

Resolution

Provided the following documentation to the client which contains information on what is done when a legacy database is upgraded to a newer version of K2.
