I have an activity that needs to be assigned based on a drop-down in InfoPath.  What I did to accomplish this was to load the field with a value, then the name of the K2 role ( One : Role1, Two : Role2; with Role1 and Role2 being K2 roles).  Then I put that field in as the destination user, and selected "Role" as the type.


This isn't working.  When the process gets to this activity it just sits in the "Running" status forever.  Am I trying to do something that's not possible?  Or am I just doing it wrong?

This must work. I use it and it's working fine. Can you check the value of your field in the XMLField corresponding to your InfoPath Form in the workspace interfcae (Go to Reports part, choose process overview, select your process, then your process instance, then click on XMLFields, and check the XML Content).Do you really have "role1" or "role2" here?


Let us now. In the meantime, what K2 version are you using?

Ok, it is working now.  I found out that you need to spell the name of the group correctly.  We should put that in the FAQ's. 🙂
