Diagnoses
Using the DTC Ping tool from Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/en-sg/download/details.aspx?id=2868), the test found that “WARNING:the CID values for both test machines are the same”
Resolution
Re-install MSDTC on both K2 and DB server.
