I'm getting an error in the configuration manager tool when changing a database.

"Wrong Type of Database"  Does K2 Blackpearl support 64 Bit?

 Microsoft SQL Server 2005 - 9.00.3042.00 (X64)   Feb 10 2007 00:59:02   Copyright (c) 1988-2005 Microsoft Corporation  Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 2)

Make sure the user account used to run the config manager has DBO rights to the database.
I saw this message when a blackpearl beta version was previously installed on the same SQL Server.  Delete all beta databases.

Resolved the issue:

The issue was related to permissions. The account running the configuration wizard needs to be a database owner. Simple mistake I suppose.

Hi,

I was told that K2BP at the moment does not support 64bit. It will in the future.

K2 [blackpearl] 64-bit BETA components are now available for download from the K2 Partner/Customer Portal(https://portal.k2workflow.com/downloads/betaDetail.aspx?id=37). These components will support 64-bit platform as well as:
• 64-bit SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services
• 64-bit SharePoint 2007 (WSS/MOSS)
• 64-bit K2 Server
• 64-bit K2 Workspace

Post your feedback to the 64-bit Beta Forum (http://k2underground.com/forums/442/ShowForum.aspx) or log a support ticket on the K2 Portal (NOTE: There is no support for K2 blackpearl] 64-bit components and therefore all tickets will be regarded as feedback.)
