Diagnoses
The local PC or laptop does not have the correct .dll files installed to create custom controls.
Resolution
Copy SourceCode.Forms.Client.dll and HostClientAPI.dll from C:Program Files (x86)K2 blackpearlBin
and
SourceCode.Forms.Controls.Web.SDK.dll and SourceCode.Forms.Controls.Web.Shared.dll from C:Program Files (x86)K2 blackpearlK2 SmartForms Runtimein
To your local machine and add references locally.
