Can you copy the value of your list choice column to a calculated value field in a form without a workflow? If yes please provide the formula. I have a status field for "In Progress" and "Complete". I want the end user to only view the field, but I will have the status column hidden in another part of the form for power users to choose the correct status. Thanks!

Add a calcualted value control to your form and for the forumula go to item properties tab and select the column from the list that you want to display.

+2That was easy! I was trying to over complicate it. The only thing is that I had to add it from Named Controls instead of Item Properties for it to appear. This put me on the right track though, thanks!
