Hello. I've been trying to copy a list item from a subsite to a top site list without any progress. For example, when employee ID is entered or changed on a subsite list, I want the list item to populate a top site list. In the workflow, I used the Query list action first and the copy item action under it. My problem is that the top site list is not showing in the "Copy to" section of the copy item action. What am I doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

You aren't doing anything wrong - the Copy Item task can only copy within the same site
