Copy a Major version of a document

Hi,

I would like to wait until a document version is a Major version and then copy it to a different repository.

Is this possible?

Please help.

Hi there,

that should be possible. For example:

Create new list workflow
Make the workflow start on item update
Use a "Filter" action
1. Check the "Version" field of your item with "matches a regular expression"
2. Insert the regular expression (major versions are always ".0" Versions, minor Versions will not have the zero after the dot)
Use "Copy item", "Copy to SharePoint" or "Copy to File Share" for copying your current document depending on the destination you are using.
