Control Type 'GUID' Not Found
A user on the PROD environment ran into the error 'Control Type GUID Not Found'. Other users did not get the same error, we were also not able to replicate the error. The user accessed the site again a few hours later with no errors showing.
Resolution
Resolution:
Following on from the initial investigation, it was established that this is a know issue and there is an existing codefix.
Codefix was sent and customer chose to close the ticket.
