Has anyone already invented the wheel of connected external data (BCS) controls like those 'cascading lookups' in Nintex Forms? Is this possible without code?

+6This is not something I have personally seen yet, I would think you would need some custom code to achieve this. Sean Fiene may have some ideas on this.
