Symptoms


Configuration analysis failed on "MSDTC Network Access"

 

Diagnoses


The error details indicated to check the following:

Network DTC Access: Checked
•Allow Remote Clients: Checked
•Allow Inbound: Checked
•Allow Outbound: Checked

Incoming Caller Authentication was however not checked.

DTC tester was also used but its results were successful.

Resolution

The Incoming Caller Authentication setting is a configuration requirement for K2's installation. Setting that resolved this issue.
