Can I install Collaboration tools on a sever that has multiple portals?
If so, do I have to run the installation for each portal and create a separate database for each portal?

I noticed that you only have to install the collaboration tools once on a server and they will be available to all portals you create. I did notice that during the installation, it asks for your Sharpoint site name. I'm not sure why it asks for this but this could probably affect certain urls that the system creates?
