Choice field string values contains Pipe Symbol "|" and the form is trimming the string

I have an SharePoint list that have multiple choice option values in it.

The format of the values in it is similar to something like : ABC | XYZ

The drop down control in Nintex form is trimming the Pipe Symbol and all the string before it, so the option appears to be just XYZ in the choice field.

I am new to Nintex Forms so is this a known issue or am i just facing it?
