Symptoms

When I try to install client components on client PC, at the end of installation process they receive the error "Could not find registry key...Wow6432Node"

 

Diagnoses

This happen when you are trying to install the client tools on a 32-bit machine.
If you look at the log files, it appears as if setup manager is looking for the MS VS install directory in the "Wow6432Node". Seeing as this node does not exist on a 32bit machine, the installation fails.



 

Resolution

There is a fix available for this. Please contact suppport.
