Symptoms

I recently ran an update on our K2 servers and am now having issues building our solutions within Visual studio. We were running 4.6.6 in all of our environments. In our development environment, I went ahead and upgraded the K2 server to 4.6.11 and two of our IDE boxed. On the two IDE boxes that I upgraded to 4.6.11 the solutions for our existing K2 workflow projects do not build. No changes have been made to the project itself. Honestly everything else seems to be working fine. If I go back to the IDE boxes that are still on 4.6.6, the solutions will build and deploy. I have not been successful finding any solutions online but I am sure something with the guids for the smart objects is off. We would like to perform this same upgrade in our production environment so it is important that I am able to understand what is going on.

Diagnoses

The issue has been identified as a bug for this version of K2 when having a SmartObject association in process.
